There is nothing like having your work appreciated by those around you. And what about the appreciation on an international level? Does the Red Dot award sound somehow familiar to you? The Red Dot Design Award is an award for product and communication design. It is awarded by a design centre in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, specifically in the city of Essen.
This unique catalogue impresses right from the first time with its distinctive debossing of holographic foil on the cover. However, even a lover of minimalism can appreciate the cool design touches inside the catalogue - for example, the scale that compares the size of the catalogue with the size of the individual lights.
Even such details impressed the German jury enough to award the catalogue the aforementioned Red Dot Design Award.
